At one time, Cypress Gardens was a premier botanical destination in Florida drawing crowds from all over the world. With time, crowds were drawn away to other Central Florida destinations and eventually Legoland Florida replaced Cypress Gardens. Legoland Florida Resort opened in 2011, and a portion of the original Cypress Gardens remains to this day and is somewhat maintained by the park, and while Legoland is still quite beautifully landscaped the fact remains that the remnant of Cypress Gardens isn’t nearly as beautiful and elaborate as it one time was, so you might be wondering–what did Cypress Gardens used to look like? Well, I’m glad you asked because actually, I have some photos that I would like to share from my visit there back in 2008 just a few years before Legoland was built.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
