Tanger Outlets

Tanger Outlets is a great place to shop and find amazing deals at all the name-brand stores, such as  H&M, Forever 21, Gap, Old Navy, and Starbucks. The restrooms are easy to locate and the food court is expansive. The outlets are well laid out and smartly designed, with the TJ Maxx being a massively popular store in the center.  Also, a mini-golf, a playground, and a carousel are in the middle.

The Park at Owa

The Park at Owa is the #1 tourist destination in Foley. It has an amusement park and several shops, many of which are under development or recently developed and yet to be filled. Much has been developed just since Aiken Adventures’ last visit. There is also Paula Deen’s restaurant here, with its family-style dinners. This type of dinner usually has 2-3 meats and several side dishes which are shared at the table. Side dishes have unlimited refills. There is an amusement park and they were working on opening an indoor amusement park, the perfect solution for the rainy weather so often found in the south.

Lambert’s Cafe

Lambert’s Cafe is The Home of the Throwed Roll and the name speaks for itself. The food here is also served family style, with each individual ordering meat, and several “pass arounds” are served to the table. “Pass arounds” are basically side dishes. They are open every day except for certain holidays. Next to the outlet mall and no more than eight miles from the beach, this mainstay of Foley is a great place to visit.

Originally, the Louisville and Nashville railroad station, it was built in 1908. It is a reminder of when Foley was an agricultural center and the railroad was an important part of that and the economy. It is located at 125 E Laurel Ave. Foley.
